Augustana

Augustana is an American rock band best known for their heartfelt piano-driven melodies and the 2005 hit “Boston.” Formed in 2002 by Dan Layus, they blend alternative rock with folk and Americana influences, often centered around Layus’s emotive vocals and storytelling. Over the years, Augustana has evolved from a full band to Layus’s solo project under the same name, continuing to release introspective, lyrically rich music.
